World Design Policy Days – Future needs Design

The Design Policy Days are the four-day closing event of the World Design Capital Frankfurt RheinMain 2026, bringing together design, politics, science, and civil society across three conferences in Wiesbaden, Offenbach, and Frankfurt.

The Design Policy Days take place from 11 to 14 November 2026 as part of the World Design Capital Frankfurt RheinMain 2026. Three conferences address how design can drive civic and democratic processes, with themes spanning service design in public administration (Wiesbaden), design as social attitude (Offenbach), and institutional design policy (Frankfurt). The event concludes with the Design Assembly at the Paulskirche, where the WDC title is officially handed over to the next World Design Capital, Busan.
